CAREER PROFILE

Alistair started his career as an ecologist with Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council, assessing ecological aspects of planning applications and working on Local Wildlife Sites.

He then worked for Penny Anderson Associates as an ecologist, working on environmental impact assessments, phase 1 and NVC surveys, windfarm assessments and studies for a gas pipeline, commercial and housing developments, and ecological audits of SSSIs for Natural England and SNCIs for Hull City Council and upland sites for the RSPB and National Trust.

He has worked as an ecological clerk of works on a major construction project and holds a great crested newt survey licence.
