CAREER PROFILE

Mark worked for the RSPB for five years as a Development Officer, before moving to Groundwork North East to oversee the community and land programme areas in Northumberland including major green infrastructure projects.

He has now returned to his ornithological and ecological roots and is mainly responsible for breeding bird and vantage point surveys, butterfly and reptile survey, together with bat and newt surveys in the spring and summer.
