Hannah Norman BSc MSc

Graduate Ecologist

Hannah Norman

Hannah joined E3 in January 2015 and is currently gaining experience in ecological report writing and a wide range of protected species surveys including aerial tree assessment for bats and fresh water pearl mussel survey. She is close to obtaining her licence for bat survey. Prior to joining E3 full time, Hannah gained experience in newt and bat ecological surveys whilst working as an assistant surveyor. Her interest in scuba diving has allowed her to develop this skill for use in marine ecology surveys and tropical conservation projects. During the winter of 2015-16, she travelled widely, including to Korea and New Zealand.

Whilst studying Hannah undertook modules relating to ecological consultancy including botany, ornithology and environmental GIS. For her Master's thesis Hannah conducted research into evaluating trapping methods of great crested newts.
