SERVICES - Mitigation and Compensation Design

Design of appropriate mitigation and compensation proposals is essential to ensure a high quality development which both meets the client's needs and addresses the planning guidance.

E³ Ecology has wide-ranging experience of mitigation design for both flora and fauna. Previous projects have included provision of mitigation for a variety of protected and notable species, including the development of mitigation measures where impacts are predicted on European protected species including bats and great crested newt. Design of appropriate mitigation is essential in these cases to ensure a project runs smoothly and all necessary licences can be obtained.

Mitigating impacts on habitats has also been a key element in the work undertaken by E³ Ecology. Previous works have included designing appropriate mitigation where development could have a negative impact on sensitive upland habitats protected under EU Directives.
