Connor Woods BSc MSc

Connor joined E3 in September 2017 and is developing experience in a wide range of protected species surveys, including bats, great crested newt, bird and fresh water surveys. He holds a class 1 great crested newt licence and is currently progressing towards his bat licences.

During his 2017-2018 winter break Connor volunteered with the RSPB on the Isle of Islay where he was involved with a range of bird population monitoring and habitat management.

Prior to joining E3 Connor gained experience working as an assistant surveyor at consultancies including E3, undertaking bat, newt and reptile surveys. He also volunteered at the Lower Derwent Valley National Nature Reserve where he gained practical management and species identification skills. During his time at university Connor undertook various modules which have aided him in his present role, including; environmental ecology, GIS and evidence for policy and licencing.
